About The Performers

Pinky Killacorn is more than a performer; she’s a cultural force. A proud Washingtonian, Pinky blends DC’s iconic Go-Go with soul, R&B, and hip-hop to create a sound she calls Go-Go soul-hop. Her work celebrates Black femininity, freedom, and LGBTQ+ identity in empowering and accessible ways.

Beyond the stage, Pinky is a dedicated teaching artist and community builder. She has worked with schools, including KIPP Legacy and Randle Highlands Elementary, and partnered with organizations such as The Musicianship and the DC Public Library. Her mission is to use music and storytelling as powerful tools for healing, learning, and joy.

Pet Names is a Maryland-based duo playing folk, rock, and beyond.

Partners in both music and in life, Camila (guitar) and Maggie (bass) co-write all of their original music. Their sound is rooted in rich vocal harmonies and lively instrumentals, with lyrics that range from thoughtful to tongue-in-cheek. They draw inspiration across decades and genres—Washington City Paper wrote that their debut EP, Hey Hi Hello, “effortlessly pair[s] early aughts indie sensibilities with classic rock.”

Multi talented arranger and vocalist, Gracie Jay has performed and recorded with artists including Cyrille Aimee, Nicholas Payton, Camille Thurman, Jamison Ross and more. Her written works have been performed by groups including the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Next Generation Big Band, and the New Guard Big Band. Part of a rare, niche category of talented female vocalists, Gracie is a powerful force on stage, simultaneously writing and arranging for the same large-ensembles she masterfully sings for.
